Ahh, I'm sorry to say it, but I agree that there are a lot of red flags. The fact that he's already trying to dictate how/where your children will be educated, how many pets you're allowed to have, etc, without any room for discussion, makes me worry a bit. You're definitely right in thinking that you need to talk to him about it, and you sound like a smart and strong woman, so don't settle! Don't give up on finding someone just because this guy might not work out, you deserve someone who will love you, respect you and let you have as many felines as you can handle There are lots of nice, respectful men out there... even if they sometimes take a while to find!
