My SO and I are both back at our respective schools, which results in our LDR... We have now been going out for 10 1/2 months and everything was fantastic and great at the end of the summer. But ever since we've been back at school we are finding it difficult to find things to talk about that interest both of us and it's giving both of us uneasy feelings. We're hoping it's just a transition stage resulting from going from home to school (which we missed last year bc we didn't start dating until October)... That might be part of it, but I feel like he's not really interested in what I have to say and when we talked about it last night we couldn't come up with a solution. Usually when we're having communication issues we talk about why it's happening and how to fix it, but we can't figure out how to fix this one... Does anyone have a similar experience that can shed some light? Thanks!

It's often hard to adjust being LD after being together for a long time. Me and my SO had to say goodbye 9 times over 3 years and everytime the first few days were hard and we didn't have much to talk about, we were just quiet and depressed cause we were apart again.
If you struggle to find things to talk about maybe take a few days off from contacting each other? Give yourselves some time to really miss each other and you'll be happy when you get to talk again. Also, you'll probably have more to talk about when you let a few days pass by.
1000 questions is also a good idea when you're having a quiet season with communication
