Couples on the forum :)

How many couples are registered on the forum then? Both of you I mean, not just you and your SO's name in your username

Obviously there's Michelle & Frank, and my SO Tanja is on here too, so I was wondering if there's many more...?

Way back when, my boyfriend used to lurk memberlessly. He hasn't showed much interest to join, which I've been alright with in the past because he'd never let me live down the stories about us I would tell. :'D He'll take any chance to tease me because I'm easily embarrassed.

My man is the same way. I think he checked it out the first time I told him about it, and I'm sure he has maybe checked back a few times.. but has voiced his dislike towards it. He's the type that if we have a problem, we speak directly to each other about it, or he keeps it inside until we can talk. He doesn't like the idea of speaking to "strangers" about his relationship. I said "well you can give other couples advice then!"... and he didn't go for that either. lol

Thankfully this does give me a place to vent as well as hopefully help others without "watching what I say" so to speak.

Mine is the same way! I mentioned back when we first started dating that I joined a forum for long distance couples, and he thought it was a stupid idea. I never gave him the name of it though, and I'm kind of glad because sometimes I just need a place where I can go without being followed, especially if I need help with something. Plus, he would probably be embarrassed as well, with some of the things I talk about. :-P

It's just me. ^^ This isn't really his thing and that's cool. He's not against it and doesn't mind when I talk about it with him, but it's just not really something I think he wants to participate in. I guess he's like a second hand lurker XD

I'm the same way Alisz, I talk to my boyfriend about the site, but he doesn't seem too interested in checking it out. It just makes him really happy that I have people to talk to when I'm feeling down.

He peeked over my shoulder a few weeks ago while I was giving some advice, so now he knows about this place haha. It's definitely not his thing (not typically my thing but I was compelled to join for some reason and found out the people are so cool!) and he teased me a bit. He doesn't really like me talking about him so I hope he doesn't end up joining :P

My boyfriend joined the old forum but never posted. I talked about it for two months before he was one day intrigued enough to look at it. However, he never really looked at it or posted anything. Boo! I have told him to rejoin it and he just said he would do it later (even though I will not believe it until I see it). I really hope he will though, since I think this would place would be a nice community for him whenever he gets down or feels sad. Plus, I sometimes read him threads, and a lot of the time he has really good advice! Sometimes it would help to have more male input lol!
