    Hi!

    I'm new and just wanted to introduce myself
    My SO is in Thailand right now, he's doing a year abroad as part of his uni course. He's been gone three months and will be away for another nine. I'm finding it difficult at the moment but reading all these posts and stories has really given me hope and faith. I'm sure I'll be spending quite a lot of time here
    To everyone else in LDRs, I relate completely to what you're going through and it's comforting to know that I'm not alone!

I'm Krissy I like your username btw lol I don't know if that's your real name or not, but "Kairi" is the name of one of a character from one of my favorite video games, so I thought I'd point it out :P Lol but you'll definitely find all the support you need here when it comes to being apart from your SO.

      Thank you! My real name is Harriet, and I'm guessing you're talking about Kingdom Hearts? It's one of my favourite games as well

        Welcome Harriet and haha so you knew exactly what I was talking about! I swear, I miss my playstation 2 and playing Kingdom Hearts, those are still some of my alltime favorite games

              Welcome!!! It'll be hard but you have lots of support here! One year is amazing! Be very thankful that it's only that long for an LDR. Keep your head up and keep going. Make yourself at home!
