explaining: I downloaded skype to talk with one online friend from russia that was as much a harry potter geek as i am, no romantic interest, is just the guy is super duper cool and the kind of person i would see as a really close friend, even a best friend given the right ammount of talking. So I downloaded skype to see if i would talk with him, but later he told me he stopped using skype and started using google plus or something, and i was there with this new program installed on my pc and it had the option to search for people, for ages or places of location, i think they changed that a little, dont know for sure though.
And I was going to switzerland two months after to spend a couple of months with my aunt and family, and had no friends whatsoever nearby! so i added guys and girls up til the age of 23 (i had just turned 20 at the time) in switzerland and germany (my family lives in basel, that is border with germany), and added like 20 or 25 alleatory people, like two people with the letter a, two with letter b, and so on. of all those people, i just connected with two of them, one became a friend, that i talk sporadically til today, and the other one is my SO. the rest is history. (sorry for all the babbling. :X)
