I watched it and bawled my eyes out at parts in the beginning. I'm not quite sure about the ending though.

I saw this in theaters a couple of weeks ago. It's a nice attempt, I guess, but, it's clumsily paced and the actors have no chemistry.

ETA: I did, however, bawl spectacularly at that scene where the two main characters are sleeping in bed together, curled up in different positions. That's how JP and I used to sleep and it made me miss him terribly.

I saw this movie last night, and I did not like it at all. I thought the acting was mediocre and the story was hard to follow because it kept flipping back and forth. Also, what was up with the ending?

@Lyah, yeah! The ending really didn't satisfy me. Some parts did actually get me, but more because it made me think of me and my SO and not because I'd fallen in love with the characters. I found I couldn't connect to them.

I watched the trailer and I don't think I'm going to go see this one. I saw it in the paper and read the description. I considered going with Anthony when he comes home for Thanksgiving, since it's something we both can relate to. But, then after seeing the trailer, I knew I just couldn't do it. These movies always mess with my head, and I almost bawled my eyes out watching the trailer. It's a situation that hits home for me, maybe not the same story, but the distance aspect. For me, it's hard to watch because I'm living it and I feel like those movies generally have sad endings or end with the couple splitting up. This always plants a seed of doubt in my mind and I begin to panic, so I won't go see this for my own sanity and peace-of-mind. I never saw "Going the Distance" either because of the same thing.

Like a drum, my heart never stops beating for you.

Wow thanks everyone I had been looking for that movie online and couldn't find it.

                            Another good LDR movie is
                            "Same Same But Different"
It's a German movie though and I don't know if you can find a version with subtitles online.

I just watched it. The ending was so abrupt. It's realistic and not corny like other romance films which I like, but they need to grow up and start talking more and stop sleeping with other people if they want to make it work = =. I found that part kind of annoying.

Also, any other movies that have a distance theme that you guys can recommend?
