    hmmm...care package? :D

Let's face it: work gets in the way of relationships sometimes right? Well, my SO is in college and he's a little busy with the workload. I'm trying to think of little things to do for him. (you know...to lessen the stress C I'm sure a lot of you have experienced this. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that he's intentionally ignoring me, college is college. What are you gonna do? So what can I do? Love letter.....care package? lol I'm open to suggestions ^^

Care packages are amazing. Send him some snacks for the late night study sessions (think Ramen, Easy mac, candy, gum, etc), a copy of a magazine of his favorite whatever (cars, computers, etc), a picture of you (or one of you together, if you have one!) for his desk, a CD (or flash drive, since they're cheap and you can fit a lot on them) (I know it's cheesy) of music/pictures/etc, and/or anything else you can think of that he might like. USPS has the excellent "if it fits it ships" boxes, that are a flat rate, no matter where you're sending them to. You can pick them up from your local post office for free, fill it, then bring it back to ship.

I've sent two care packages to my SO He LOVES them. I did one for Valentine's Day last year and I sent him one before finals week last May. He absolutely adores them. I will put in his favorite candy (and hope it doesn't melt! lol it's happened once). I'll send his favorite chips and stuff. This last time, I sent him a hacky sack also for he and his roommates to play with. They had one and they broke it, so I figured it would be a perfect addition to the care package. Little did I know, I should have sent three more because they managed to break that one within the first day of getting it LOL Silly boys.

I'll send him letters from time-to-time whenever I actually have time to write them when I'm not studying for my own classes. "He" has sent me some care packages before (AKA: His mom sends them to me lol). She is so sweet. She does the same thing, sending chips, Twizzlers, pencils, and notebooks. She always writes him name on it, but I know who it is REALLY coming from haha!

I love care packages! Austin (SO) and I have started sending them to each other once a month on the 15th. We've agreed to not spend more than $20-$30 on the package, since we do it so often and we fill it with about 10 things each. I'm the one at college, so I normally send him newspaper articles I've written, pictures, drawings of us together, a small stuffed animal, candy, a whole bunch of love letters, and some college paraphernalia. He normally sends me stuffed animals, fake flowers, jewelry, his sweatshirts, and stuff like that. He also writes me poems, so he sends me a few at a time.
