I wish you all the best of luck on this!

May I ask what consequence is if you catch her lying to you?

Per every lie we stop talking, skyping and letters for a while. Tbh I think it really sucks for me cause I love talking to her but she informed me that it had to be something she really cared about for it to be a strong daily reminder of why she needs to stop because she herself feels that it's gotten out of control. If she thinks this is what's best for her and I know the cease of lying will be best for us then I'm willing to give it a shot.

That takes a lot of self control. Respect if you can go totally through with it. I hope she is not bullshittin you. But that seems to be a good plan.

A relationship can not stand upon lies lest it become a lie itself. Your past indiscretions are no excuse for her lying now. Either it's in the past and you both move on together or it's in the past and you both move on apart. You can't keep coming back to it. "Love keeps no record of wrongs."
She needs to stop this. She can't keep hiding things from you. You two need to come to an understanding and stick to it. If you or she can't do that, then this relationship doesn't stand a chance.
