Hey, I'm new here. I was so excited to find this to get ideas and support for my LDR! Technically, I'm not in one yet, but starting in August, my boyfriend and I will be on opposite ends of the country for college. We have the rest of the summer together, but it's still painful to think that I'll be in Ohio and he'll be all the way in Oregon....

I'll keep everyone updated! Stay strong everyone!

Welcome to LFAD! And enjoy your summer together, and try not to worry about being apart for university. This site has loads of helpful people and advice when you need it. As well as the main LFAD page's 'things to do' page if you haven't seen it much. And Skype (or other video calling platforms) are the best! And if you find yourselves busy and not able to talk much, communicate and make plans for talking that fit both your schedules. Good luck and stay strong. Oh and remember to enjoy your summer together and remember the distance is only temporary!
