So I'm a senior in high school and my boyfriend is a freshman in college. I met him over the summer before he had to move away and I knew I had feelings for him from the get go. I've never had a boyfriend before, so I don't know what a relationship is even supposed to be like. We Skype about twice a week and have pretty conversations, and we text everyday. We'll text eachother about things that happen throughout our day, but most of the time all we talk about is how much we love and miss eachother. I don't mind telling him how much I love and miss him, but sometimes I feel like it's all we talk about and I'm not sure if it's healthy? I know for sure that I love him deeply and I know he feels the same way. We tell eachother "I love you" everyday and all the stuff we'll do when he gets back, but sometimes I feel like it's just because we want to text eachother but have nothing to text about. I also could be overthinking it and we really just love eachother ridiculous amounts. AGH I DON'T EVEN KNOW, THIS MAY NOT EVEN BE A PROBLEM. I just wanted to see what people have to say about it. Thanks.

It's all shiny and new for you in a couple ways, so it's all ok. As your relationship grows and changes, so will the way you communicated. There really is no right or wrong, it's about how you both feel. I think it's great you Skype, text and talk. Communication is the only way to keep your ldr going, and you both need to decide what is good for you.
That being said, there's a bunch of stuff here to help you along.. Do a search for things to do here. There is an amazing book about 1000 things to ask your partner to help you learn about each other. Also plan a movie date, or take each other somewhere while vid chatting..my so takes me to the beach to watch the sunset!
Take your time and work together!
