The main things they look for are phone records, skype logs (calls and chats), emails, pictures not only with them but with friends and family, ticket stubs, joint accounts. I noticed with all of my friends who have gone through the process of immigrating to canada from another country to marry is ticket stubs, pictures with friends/family and phone/skype records are the main things they ask for, the reason is because that's the best way they can prove your relationship is genuine. With everything i also recommend getting copies from him as well.
