I only live with my Mum and she found out much, much sooner than I had planned her to. Like, before we even started dating. The day I bought home a webcam and she found it set up on my computer and thought I was nuts. xD She asked who I was talking to and hasn't stopped asking questions since, slipping his name into a sentence when I least expect it, and making comments and questions almost daily (in a positive way). She suspected from the first day that I liked him (why else would I buy a webcam?), and while I still haven't used the term boyfriend/girlfriend with her, it's pretty darn obvious when I stay up 'til 2am every night webcamming him and she'll slip in things like "I bet you wish you were kissing him goodnight and not me" and "can we go to Sweden and have a white Christmas?" 
She also doesn't know I'm expecting stuff in the mail, so if she hasn't cottoned on enough now, she will definitely know when it arrives with his return address on it xD
My sister-in-law asked me on Saturday about him, because apparently I've been leaving "cryptic messages" on Facebook and he's been liking all my statuses (which has been about 2). But my sister-in-law is a nosy person and will do 20 questions (or more!) with every new person she meets, so she has been interrogating me about him for the last 2 days with never ending questions and also knows I like him. Problem with her is she cannot keep a secret, so she will have already told my brother, and it won't be long until the rest of the family finds out likely at Christmas - she'll just blurt things out without meaning to, and has already got my 2yo niece saying his name.
Luckily for me, said brother and sister-in-law were also long distance on the opposite sides of Australia and 2000 miles away. Admittedly, it's a bit different to being in different countries with a much larger gap, but I think the "shock" aspect of having an international internet boyfriend will be much less. They first met in 2000, traveled back and forth to each other every school holidays, engaged Christmas Day in 2004 which caused an absolute uproar with my Dad's side of the family when they discovered my brother was going to live over there for a year and marry at the age of 20. But they've been together 7 years now and with 2 beautiful children, so things have worked out well for them and the family got over it. So yeah, I think my being in such a relationship will seem almost natural, especially when I've lived with internet friends all my life
We are hoping to go Facebook official later in the week if I don't chicken out It's either that or have my sister-in-law announce it to the whole family at Christmas, so will let you know how it goes Only thing I'm really worried about is how they're going to say I should be focusing on other aspects of my life first (namely, a job) but that said, they'll probably also consider it motivation for me to get a job xD
