need some advice!

The guy who has my heart currently is in Germany.. I am in Canada. We are not in a relationship officially but have decided to not sleep with other people. We have only met each other once(we have just kissed and etc), but mostly fell for each other online after reconnecting... He has invited me to come stay with him for the summer, in June.. and that is our plan to see each other.. by then we will have not met each other again since July! However, my heart is telling me I need to meet him again sooner.. to verify my feelings and then I can know if I will be comfortable staying with him, and so I dont invest so much feeling in him and end up not liking each other in person.

Has anyone else had these worries when making such a commitment to someone you don't really know? We skype and talk on the phone.. so it's like we do have sparks over this I am just nervous of something being different when we are face to face.

I want to see him in February.. I can only take a week off work, but I have found a pretty cheap flight. So basically 9 hours flight.. and prob 5 legit days to spend time with each other after travel. He would come here but he can't take a lot of time off work until the summer... and he wants to save that so we can spend more time together travelling etc.

What do u all think??

I would go for it if you can afford it, then a week is totally worth it. I've done it before and I don't regret it at all!

Go for it if he's happy to have you there and you can afford it
It'll only go one of 2 ways and then you'll know! If it does go south then you can at least say you spent a nice week visiting another country with a good friend!

As the others have said, if you have the opportunity, go ahead and do it! You won't know if you don't risk it.
