First timer to experience Long Distance Relationship

Hi, im Aissa. While im doing this my boyfriend is waiting for his flight going to USA. Im not a big fan of LDR, but for him i'll do my best to make our relationship work. Its going to be a rough time for me adjusting, and thinking that he's gone. But im sure with constant communication, trust and honesty everything will be easy.

Welcome to LFAD this place is full of really great people who always seem to be able to help you through your problems, im in an LRD too (obviously haha) with a wonderful Aussie for 6 months, i hope you guys stay strong and work through the struggles that you will face going into a LDR together, i know they are hard but when youre together again every second of waiting will be totally worth it Do you guys have and end date where one of you will be joinging the other? Having an idea of a date seems to calm you down and look forward to that date again welcome and hope you have a great time on here

I don't think anyone enjoys being in an LDR in particular, but sometimes we have no choice. I've been in an LDR for almost 2.5 years and have only been able to see my boyfriend once in those 2 years. It sucks, I know.. but we get past it. Make sure to keep open communication at all times. If you need to cry, then cry! If you're happy, smile! If you're angry, don't be afraid to rage. The most important thing in an LDR is open communication. With good communication comes trust and loyalty.

Try to find a date for the next visit and work towards that goal! That's what me and my LDB do and every day is just one day closer till the next time we see each other.
