I have had a few good months with my business and I am thinking about jumping from NL to UK for a month after my next visit so that my SO can jump over when he can throughout the month and we won't have to wait but two months after I leave UK to see each other again. My question is this. I need to look for a safe cheap place that will rent me for a month or so. I have no idea where to start looking and what the prices might be. Can anybody that lives in UK help me out and point me in the right direction. I really don't care what part as long as it is safe and I do require wireless internet so that I can do my work remotely. Thanks in advance for any help given.

Anywhere in the uk? The north tends to be cheaper than the south on average, Manchester might be a good bet as it's near a big international airport and there are some good places. What sort of size property?
