Seeing him tomorrow!

Oh gosh... I don't know how to feel about him. <3

We've been dating almost half a year now. And I'll finally see him for the first time tomorrow. I'm really scared. Not of him, but just in general. I'm head over heels in love with the man. Despite being 5,000 miles away, he's treated me better than I've ever been treated. We fit perfectly together. What do I do?! I'm so incredibly excited for him. But I'm so incredibly scared at the same time. We're going straight from the airport to a lovely hotel he's booked for us. Is everyone nervous like me? Being a Dane, he's very calm and collected. But me, I'm freaking out!~ I'm scared I'll be so shy I won't be able to talk. I said I'd bring a bucket to the airport in case I "melt"~ Have I mentioned how gorgeous he is? x) Oh gosh, I love him.

I remember those feelings at the first meeting. That was the best day of my life, so far. It was wonderful.

I'm happy for you both, and you will be nervous. It will go easier than you think, though. You don't have to talk! Just hug him and let your eyes do the talking.

Oh yes, when i first met my SO, I was freaking out too. It took me 10 minutes of staring at the airport door to gather the courage and go through to see him. The first moments were a bit awkward as either of us didn't know what to do (just said hi and hugged and started walking to the car), but after walking to the car together, holding hands, it just faded away and the rest of the week was amazing and felt like so natural being together. I kept distracting myself the days before to make sure i'll have as little time as possible to freak out. Just keep in mind that you'll finally be able to see him, hug him, kiss him.. maybe even sleep in his arms, that helped to calm me down.

I hope your first meeting will be great! Don't get discouraged if the first moments are awkward, it'll pass! He is the man you love, trust that you two are good together!

Ahh so exciting!

I remember when I first met my so I was extremely nervous, but like you said about yours my so didn't really show any nerves (he's American). Trust me though its the best feeling in the world going from seeing someone on a screen/messaging to seeing their face in front of you. If it goes anything like mine, it'll feel like you've met them before and everything's 'normal' within minutes!

Yeah, I'm also very self-conscious and stuff. Thank you guys for the support! He's on the plane, and I'm about to get ready to pick him up for the first time. I've still got the nerves, but I'll get through it. He makes my heart beat out of my chest. :3 I can't wait to be with him, I've waited for so long!~ <3

When Stephen and i first met, I was super nervous and anxious and I was just flipping out. But the moment I saw him walk out if the terminal all of those feelings literally vanished and everything was perfect. No awkward feelings.
