Your favourite words

This one is easy; in the language of your SO (or another language beside your mother tounge), what are your three favourite words? Why do you like them so much?

My favourite words in Turkish these days are:
* Tebrinkler! (means Congratuations). I just think it is funny. It reminds me of tea and cookies, and that is like a polite party right?
* çalışıyor (I think it means something like working). This word is just pretty. I don't know, it just makes me happy to hear it. I love words ending in 'yor. They make my day.
* Hoşca kal/Hoşca kalin (Good bye/Stay well) Another word to use the ş-letter. Will be nice to wisper this to him when I leave. I am sure I will get other favourites as I learn more words.

In English, my all time favourite word is: *counterproductive! We have no single Norwegian word for this, and it gives me great pleasure every time I can use it.

When I was first learning Spanish, "conejo" (rabbit) was my favorite word. I'll have to think of others, but as far as my first favorite word, conejo/conejito wins!

In english it'd be:

ejaculation - I just love the way it is pronounced
furthermore - every "th" word sounds nice to me, but this one is the best
girl - no reason, just like the sound of it

In french it'd be:

chanson (song) - reminds me of a song we sang in school "une chanson douce que me chanté ma maman" or something like that
renard (fox)- I love the french Rs
amour (love)- same reason

In polish it'd be:

dżdżownica (earth worm) - I love that it has the dż twice in a row
żabka/żabki (frog/frogs) - it's what my dad calls my mom and us twins
potrafić (to be able to/to can) - love the r sound

Necio/a- it means annoying/persistent, there's not really a direct translation to English. I love it because it's so so useful.
-Use it in a sentence: That person is so necio/a!
Despiche- tico for cluster fuck. It's also super useful.
-Use it in a sentence: The school where I work is a total despiche.
Pichaso- also tico, means a whole lot. More translated it means a "dick load". Can also mean a punch.
-Use it in a sentence: At the concert there was a pichaso of people. OR (after someone gets hit) What a pichaso!

My SO actually speaks english, but he can also speak zulu.
The only 2 things I can remember is:
Ngyathanda wena - I love you
Ungakhathezeki - don't worry (I'm gonna get a tattoo of this which I have designed myself! Want to get it in Africa, where my SO got his tattoos as well. So i'm pretty sure it's safe)

And he can also speak a little bit Afrikaans. Which is just funny in general because it's a very very simple version of Dutch.

My favorites words are in Malay (my SO natural language)

Saya cinta kamu (I love you) that always make her more happy when I say it in Malay than in English.

My boyfriend speaks English, so I'll do some slang they use. There's probably better ones I could think of, but I'm drawing kind of a blank.

Bob's your uncle - this one I laughed at for quite a while. I guess it means "that's it" and it's thrown onto the end of a sentence. "Add some whipped cream, another layer of banana and Bob's your uncle!"

Bollocks- Means testicles, used kind of like Americans use "bullshit"

Knackered - Really tired

And since I know French as well, I'll include my favorite French word.

Poubelle - trash can I think, but in my french classes we used it as a swear word because it sounded funny and since it had poo in it, I guess it seemed like a nice, school-friendly alternative to saying shit.

I laughed so hard at pussi the first time I was in Finland I'm pretty sure I was worse than a 9 year old boy.

And yeah, Mitä vittua rolls off the tongue so easily!

And he can also speak a little bit Afrikaans. Which is just funny in general because it's a very very simple version of Dutch.

The way they say thank you in Afrikaans to me sounds like "buy a donkey". I've forgotten what the real way of saying it is. Just so hilarious!

Well the way they use the word "Duck"
Greeting: Ayup me duck

A cob = a bread roll for instance a bacon cob (bread roll with bacon)

And in general in English I like the word cunnilingus, coz it's just such a funny word

I could think of loads of words I like in foreign languages I know (some I know a lot of some I know a little), there are just soooo many.

My favourite thing at the moment is teasing my Chinese colleague by saying "Ciao" to him as apparently it's a bad swear word in Chinese especially said by a woman :P

Tijereta - Earwig. No idea why I like that word, because I hate the earwigs in particular xD I just like the way it's pronounced, it sounds hilarious.

I love how it's the most random words though, they're not particularily beautiful in either English or Swedish, but I love how they sound in Spanish

Enfarto is heart attack in Spanish. But it still makes me laugh when people say it. Especially after the Parks and Rec episode where Jerry had a fart attack.
