    HELP. Feeling really really down..

    Hey guys,

I've a lot going on in my life right now and it seems like there is no end.
Trying to find a new apartment, long distance relationship, first meeting in october

So many different feelings I am going through right now and I feel down...i feel nothing...I feel depressed, lonely...helpless. My heart is heavy and my mind full of thoughts. It feels like as if my head explodes and I could cry all the time.

I don't know what I can do about it. The only time I forget about all that is when I skype with my SO or even if we just text on FB. It's crazy! It hurts.

What can I do. It sucks and I just want to feel happy, I want to focus on my future with my SO, because a LDR is tough enough...

    Thank you guys!

Reach out to someone? A family member or close friend (not your SO). Or one of us here may be willing to lend a reading pair of eyes. I know I am. I may not know everything in the world, but I can always just read (listen)

Maybe you can work out or do meditation, that helps me when I feel lost. If you don't have the energy to do something new, just watching an interesting movie takes my mind off things.
I made love to him only twice, she thought and looked at the man laying asleep beside her. And yet still it is as if we have been together forever, as if he has always known my life, my soul, my body, my light, my pain

I suggest writing down your feelings, that is what I do, it helps a LOT to do so, it allows me to get my feelings out so they don't just burst out like the lava out of a volcano. Also, reaching out to someone, anyone is helpful. Whether it be a close friends, or a family member, or even one of us here on LFAD. I'm sure we all pretty much know what you're going through right now, and in general.

          thank you so much.
Reaching out with my problems to a family member or close friends is not what I like lol. I prefer strangers

Most problems occur when you don't need them at all.

Yes, it can be difficult to share worries with close family and friends. Right now, I'm a few days away from moving to a new city and just found an apartment (sent the deposit without viewing it). It's difficult and stressful, on top of waiting to see your SO for the first time in October! I have found mentioning my stress to family and close friends has helped, not so much in their response but in my being able to actually say "You know what, this new opportunity is exciting but I'm scared to move." I guess it's more, the ability to be honest about my feelings and really hear myself say it. Definitely feel free to share your thoughts and worries on LFAD! We're here for support. I've also found, as some of the other posters mentioned, writing it all down has helped.

I second meditation. It's really worth trying and keeping up with, you'll be surprised how much it can help once you get the hang of it.

Hobbies and other things that keep you busy in healthy ways are always good, too.

It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river
