    Being Thankful

So today I was reminded just how much I love my SO and how lucky I'm going to feel once he's finally here (in 47 days!!). I feel like we spend so much time on here feeling sorry for ourselves and talking about our problems. Long distance relationships are HARD! No one can deny that, but lets spend some moments being thankful for what we have!

I'm thankful for this community that lets me ramble on about different issues so that I don't constantly have to bother my SO with them (He's a very go with the flow guy and I over-think pretty much everything). With that being said, I am so incredibly thankful that my handsome boyfriend is also my best friend and that our relationship has gotten stronger by being long distance instead of falling apart. Lastly, I'm thankful that everyday gets closer to having him in my arms again! over 200 days to 47 days has flown by! How is that possible!?

That's an awesome thread! I totally agree that we have to really make an effort to stay positive and the best way to do so is by being grateful!!
Every time we say goodbye, I remind myself that we still have each other, that we can still talk and share ideas and laugh about jokes…he is still alive, so I am grateful for that. I am also grateful for this community and being able to see how other couples deal with the distance. I am grateful for having found my soulmate, who I want to spend my life with, even if he lives on the other side of the world! Many people are still wishing to find their soulmate, so I am pretty lucky! I am very grateful for Skype, which makes it possible for us to see each other every day!

    Thanks for the reminder!!
