    Breath of Relief!

    Hey all,

    I previously posted about how reluctant I was about my SO since we haven't Skyped yet. We were supposed to Skype on Sunday, but he got called to pick up a shift at work. I was pretty upset, since we had plans to video chat ( I even woke up 2 hours early!) and he was afraid that he messed things up with me. Well, we figured out that WhatsApp can take videos! So we had about an hour of sending videos back and forth to each other.

    It was such a relief to see him move and smile! He's so funny too, the first video he sent he said, "I'm going to blink and make funny faces so you know I'm not a robot!"

    I'm falling even harder for him if that's even possible! I can't wait until I see him this summer and can actually hug him and kiss him.

    Thank you everyone for being so supportive! I feel like this site and all the people actively involved are mentors for me in the new adventure of having a LDR.

    I don't think I read your original post about this. But I'm glad you guys have managed to sort something out. I know the time gap can be a killer especially when there is work and family commitments involved.

      Yay! I am glad that the videos seemed to have taken away the reluctance of it all.

              Glad to hear this Seeing them in person is always such a huge relief, good luck for when you meet in person
              Flying out to meet him for the first time: 16th November 2014 - 14th December 2014
              Flying out to meet him for the second time: 3rd June 2015 -18th July 2015
              Flying out to meet him for the third time: 12th December 2016 - 12th January 2017
              His first flight to me: April 2018 DENIED ENTRY

                  I was so nervous when my SO and I first Skyped, but when it did happen, I was so happy - just to see him there and know that he's actually real, not just seeing pictures of him. Really glad you managed to finally see each other, good luck for your visit
