Advice for someone travelling from Australia to America?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to travel to Utah to meet up with my partner of roughly 4 years and I was looking for some information in regards to where to go for my visa (or if I can do it online), what's appropriate to say and do during the processing through customs, etc.
Share your experiences if you wish to, and I'll use them to make my trip go smoother.

I would check the US Government Immigration website. I will attach a link. You can probably get an ETA based on the length of your visit.
