Does anyone know if I will need a visa when I go visit my SO who lives in the UK? I live in America and I will be visiting him in march. I checked his government page and did some research and it says I won't but just to bring the paper work if they ask for the forms. I will only be staying for a week.

No you can stay for up to 3 months with out a visa. It used to be 6 months but I think they changed it.Engaged Dec 2015!! Visa approved June 2016 . Married July 18th 2016 <3
