We are lost, But totally in love.
He got a place at a private university so he thinks that he cant visit me for 3 years. We don't know what to do. we don't want to give up... but the distance is killing us.

We are not 100% sure. and no, I cant. My parents want him to visit me first.

Why does him being at a private university stop him from being able to visit you, surely he'll get holidays and time off like every other student?

It is quite hard, because of the really long distance

Yeah, and both of us are completely blind. And I mean blind. not being able to see.

I don't know how the system there works, but in Hungary there are no holidays in universities, only when it's national holiday so that day you don't have to go to school, if you are lucky you get long weekends. Except for unis that belong to the Church. I don't know about private universities though. But I'm sure he will be able to visit you while being in university. I could visit my SO in autumn as I had a week holiday, so to spend as much time there as I can, I left on friday on the previous week. Just don't give up so easy on this topic, I'm sure you two will find a way
