Anyone ever loose interest right before you go to meet for the first time??

This is kinda interesting and thought if anyone else had this feeling before?

I met this girl from Europe several months ago and we text everyday and talk when we can. I am from the US and booked a flight to go see her which is coming up in a few days but over the last few days I feel like I lost interest. It's nothing she did too maybe it's first time meeting jitters? I feel bad because I almost feel like I am more interested to see the place i am going too.

I was so nervous that I had “cold feet” my mind was on other things. Traveling, packing, money. There is a lot for your brain to process. There is also the stress and nervousness that slight fear deep down that you might not like the person in reality. But once you see them it will change. It did for me at least. What do you mean by lost interest? Do you want to see other women while you are there ? Do you not even want to meet her anymore ?

Don't over think it. Just go there and have a good time. The place might end up being more interesting that the time with her, but that's ok. At least then you know. It's likely a defence mechanism from jitters. You are protecting yourself in case everything doesn't go well.
