How soon did you guys give your addresses out? Like when is the ideal time to give it? He's given me his and plans on sending me something but I'm a little guarded about giving mine out.

Don't think there's really a true answer that everyone will agree with for this, but the main thing is only give it out when you feel ready to. In my last few relationships i've only given for it when asked, but that was quite a few months of us being together and when i felt completely comfortable with them. If you're feeling unsure or guarded about it, you can say something like you don't want anything sent to you when there isn't a special occasion or something.
But on the other hand, if you feel you can trust them enough and feel you know they're unlikely to do anything too weird with it, then sure go ahead
