Immigration lawyers and such

Hi everyone

Me and my man would like to close the distance as soon as possible and I was thinking of looking into getting an immigration lawyer to help counsel us and help with the process.

Have any of you done this and do you recommend it? I find the process so overwhelming and the information so hard to process myself.

I am in Canada and he is in Mexico.

I guess it all depends on the Visa type?

I was looking into moving to the states, from the UK, before I met my SO... But now I have a reason to really push the process.

I guess it can't hurt, speaking to someone?
