I'm about to be in an LDR. Met my soulmate on Internet (we're both authors) and it was a perfect match, except for the distance. Me in Colorado, her in New Zealand. I moved to NZ (am here right now) and been here for a little over a year, but have to return to the US to rebuild my life and prepare for her to join me when her youngest son is on his own. So we will be apart for several years. It's heartbreaking, but the only decision we could make in this particular situation (which would take too long to explain). We are considered "married" partners, as i lived here for a year and got my partnership visa. Hopefully she will be able to visit me in Colorado in a year, and we plan to get legally married in one of the states that have that.

Don't know if anybody answered the queer question from a while back but my brother is dating a queer person and from my understanding it goes like this:
Gender is fluid (much like we feel our sexuality is). Queer folk prefer gender neutral pronouns, though typically don't feel that they are born the wrong gender. (:
As for me, I'm bisexual and dating somebody who is Transgender (FTM).
