Keeping Faith

Im so gone.

I realized it when we were together last week.
He was in the shower, I was packing my bag and found one of his white T's mixed in
with my things.
I walked it over to put it in his suitcase and realized I had my face buried in it.
Breathing in his smell.

He is far more guarded with his words of affection these days.
Though when we are together he is attentive and sweet.
He responded in like with a 'miss you' today.
Which gives me hope that we are in the same place - he's just being more measured
about expressing it.

In a month we'll have 12 days together.
I want it to be tomorrow.

Heaven help me if we're not on the same page.

Id sworn off caring for anyone again - and he's won me.
It feels like the gamble of a lifetime and my heart aches for our comfortable togetherness.
It's so easy to be together.

Ugh.

I guess we all have days where we're insecure about the other's feeling and we're all scared that some things change.
Keep your chin up though!! Better days will come.
and in a month you will be able to hold him again
