Has anyone's SO left the military?
Long story short, my SO is in the US army and misbehaved a few months ago, causing them to initiate proceedings to dismiss him from the army.
Even though he's had to return some of his things, and fill out paperwork which he refers to as his "getting out" paperwork, he tells me that ultimately the army can still decide to keep him in. He has a hearing to attend to as well.
It's taking way longer than he thought for them to get In touch with the outcome. I don't want to keep asking and pestering him, I feel like I'm adding extra stress.
Has anyone's SO had to leave the military for any reason, and had to do the same thing (I.e initiate leaving procedures) only to be told that actually they're staying??
