I think this is a great idea! I love getting letters from my SO.
You can also make all kinds of special things to go with it. I remember for Christmas, he wrote me a letter, and included an outline of his hand, so I could see how big it is. (:
Love letters are a way to connect in a much larger way than through just plain text, or voice.
"Distance never separates two hearts that really care, for our memories span the miles and in seconds we are there. But whenever I start feeling sad, because I miss you, I remind myself how lucky I am to have someone so special to miss." ♥Louis.
I thought it would be great to do something like this as a community. To know that all the other LFAD members (or many of them anyway!) will be writing a love letter too is just a nice feeling
I've been sending letters/cards nearly weekly since before xmas.... Though I've only gotten one short note back, it makes me feel good to know he will be getting something from me and that it just might make a bad day a bit better.
Not sure if I will be doing my letter for the week of the 10th of the month on the 10th, but know I will be getting something together to send off the following weekend sometime during that week!
Its a great idea, and hopefully will spark some romance and/or closeness for some of our members!
I think this is a great idea! I keep meaning to send Kyle more letters but then it sort of slips my mind. I think this will help me actually send letters more often which I really want to do. I need to order him one of your wonderful love letter satchels sometime soon too, I absolutely love mine!

George and I love to write letters, but now that we have a little "date" set to sit and write, I think the mail lady will be bringing more to my house each week. I'm completely with you about this generation not knowing the passion behind a letter and how someone's hand written words are much more than text. Your hand writing is your own. It's like the love you have for someone. No one can copy it (unless they really wanted to, lol), just no one can replace or mock the feelings you have for your SO.
I love this! I love letters. [[even if i'm usually sending not receiving]] I just feel its so much more personal and I like sitting and reading his letter. I usually try to mail a letter one a week. Sometimes it's just a page I've doodled on through class or a 3 page love letter or just a short I love you. I mail him letters and packages quite often. The mail man waits for me at the post office; he'll comment if I haven't been in a while. lol
I think it's GREAT! Matt probably wouldn't write many letters otherwise. I had to laugh when the first one went by and he hadn't written me one, 'cause he thought it had to be through this site! He makes me laugh. But he's going to do it next month.
