2 grand might be very tight for 50 guests. but anything is possible. you'll save money making your own favors, center pieces, and bouquets. have 1 attendant each and if getting married in the summertime see if you can get married in someone's backyard. also, skip the fancy wedding invitations. no one ever keeps them anyways. buy a pretty white summer dress instead of a fancy wedding dress. your biggest expense will be the place, food, and photography. when I start planning my wedding I'll be paying for it myself so I just might come back to you for advice!
