@lucybelle It's gorgeous! And cowboy boots? Yessss!
Here's the one I ended up getting. (: Forgive the bra straps. I might be adding straps where the bra straps are, so I won't feel like I have to be all gentle in the dress.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of bustle will look good with this material and train?

1300km- so pretty!
Here is a bustle link: https://www.projectwedding.com/weddi...-for-your-gown
I think because yours is so floaty and light you might get away with one of the 1-point ones? I like the Austrian style, but knowing me, that would be the most expensive one to put in. You might also be able to put a loop on the bottom and attach the train to your wrist?

I always find dresses I want but I'm really stuck between two...
The first one I fell in love with last year and my Grandmother (Who has now passed) loved the dress and though I wasn't even engaged then was trying to send me to buy it and was going to buy it for me. Sadly (I now wish I did) she is gone now and I didn't get the dress....
and this is the second one which I just recently found which I personally like this one more but EVERYONE I talk to likes the first one more!!

Not getting married anytime soon but I love these dresses. I really love dresses with beaded embroidery on the top and ball gown like bottoms. So pretty. (:

I got it from some small French dress store while traveling in Germany. I tried on all the white dresses in the store (4) and this one was the best. I really liked another one that had one strap, but it was too formal looking. And too tight. I went with my sister and her friend.
(excuse the total random-ass picture, I didn't feel like cropping)
I'm thinking of wearing it with light colored cowboy boots. Opinions?
I haven't been by this thread in awhile but everyone has really good taste

Ohh gorgeous dresses ladies!
I'm still a ways away from getting married. My SO and I are still young, and our relationship is rather new. But it's fun to think about.
Here are a few I really like:

We're just doing a quick little ceremony at New York city hall to save money (and family hassle, as we're an international couple), so I bought a little 70s vintage dress to wear for super cheap. Looks like this:

I'm going to take it to a seamstress to have the neckline altered to make the dress less cutesy and show a little bit more shoulder skin, and I'm just going to wear some sort of flowery wreath dealy in my hair from Etsy or somewhere. Probably a nice pair of boots as it'll be winter, too.Last edited by CaptainKaz; September 9, 2012, 04:25 PM.
