So about a year into dating my SO stated by the time we've reached four year he would be planning to propose near that time period. We've been together approximately 3 1/2 years. For about 2 1/2 those years I've been worried about the idea if getting engaged and married. &&& it's not that,I don't want to be with him forever bc I sooooo do! It's just that its such a long term commitment that I believe should be forever. && all marriages that I have personally encounter in my life have failed....

HOWEVER....I feel so ready to take that step! I've just come to the realization that my SO makes me happy &&& I'll relationship isn't like anyone else's &&& neither will our possible marriage.

So I have to stop comparing it like it is..... :-)
