I am still undecided. I haven't written my dad yet. I go back and forth with it. The thing is, the reason we do not speak is mainly because of some of the partying he was doing and the way he acted during the child custody battle between him, my mom, and my grandparents. It was suffocating and altogether, emotionally draining. I also have another concern about him coming and that's his wife who is hyper-religious while me and my fiance are not. We are both believe in something, but not to the degree that she does and we probably won't be incorporating religion into the wedding. I'm afraid of inviting my dad, just to say "but only you". I don't know. I think everyone's right, there is a lot of time to think about it.

Who do you really want to do it? Who has always been there and supported you?
I had my sister walk me down the aisle. It doesn't need to be a man. Some people/cultures have both parents do it. Other people choose to have a group of young children walk with them. Others go it alone because really, we're not in the 18oos anymore, your dad doesn't actually own you.
Be happy!Happily married to the little Canadian boy I never thought I'd meet in person

Everything I know, and anywhere I go, It gets hard but it won't take away my love,
And when the last one falls, when it's all said and done, It gets hard but it won't take away my love
