Can anyone tell me about the UK Fiance or Unmarried Partner Visa?

I've gone through every corner of the UKBA website, and I'm pretty familiar with it, as I've already held a visa for the country once before. But said visa expired, and I know that the easiest way for me to get back into the country is on some sort of marriage or fiancé visa. My SO is not ready to get married yet, he's only 19 and I'm 21! But, I think he might be willing to propose and have me there on a fiancé visa or unmarried partner visa if it meant that I got to be there, and we could get married once he graduates Uni in two years.

Anyone have any experience in these visas? Or any advice?

    Thanks!

If you're granted fiance visa, you have 6 months to get married, or you'll have to go back. If you're granted partner status, you can stay for up to 33 months apparently. But for either visa you and your partner have to meet a financial threshold - he has to earn at least £18,600 a year. That's arguably the most important part of your visa application.

On the other hand, you don't need a visa if you're just coming to visit him. You can stay up to 6 months as a visitor, but you can't work and you have to leave for at least 6 months when that time is up.
