    We're Engaged

    I know I haven't been here in a while, but I wanted to pop in and give you guys an update. We closed the distance in March and leaving school to come back here and be with him was the best decision of my life. At the same time he got a new job that pays way better, and in May I started my job as a staffing coordinator. We always knew we wanted to get married, but I wanted to wait until we could afford it. Now, we can. So, we picked a date, I picked a ring, bought a dress, and on Dec 23rd, he asked me to be his wife.

    It was perfect. We'll be married next November. I am as happy as I've ever been. Thank you all for helping me through some of the hardest times.

    Met online: Nov 2010 - Met in person: Nov 20, 2010
    Closed the distance: April 27, 2011
    Accepted to PhD program 200 miles away: March 2012
    LD again: July 24, 2012
    Left School and Closed the Distance for good: March 8, 2013
    Married: November 1, 2014
    Started job 200 miles away: February 23, 2015

                          Congratulations! I wish I could see your ring but I'm at work and it's not letting me Once I'm home, I'll be sure to look! I bet it's gorgeous especially since everyone is commenting that it is
