    I'd like to get married eventually. Definitely after I finish college, and get to spend time in a CDR with my SO.

    Also, my mom was 17 when she married my dad, who was 21. They're still together almost 22 years later And my grandparents.. haha they were ENGAGED 3 months after they started dating, and I think they said they got married just a few months after that... been married for 50 years now!!!

        He gave me this silver band that has diamonds and purple gems in it that belonged to either his grandma or his mom (I forget, oops!), so it was a family heirloom, but it unfortunately didn't fit me, so we got matching silver bands that have our anniversary engraved on the inside. I still have the original ring though. And yes, it was this year, before he moved.

          @lilybear

          One of my friends just got married, they'd been together seven months. They got engaged after two. I suppose sometimes you just know.

          If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspicion...love actually is all around

            Well... I'm 29 now, we won't close the distance until I'm 30. I'd like to be in the same place for at least a year before we're married (plus, planning takes time), so maybe I'll be 31? 32? He'll be 35 or 36.

            I've always thought that I'd wait until my early 30s to be married, and it looks like that will be the case!

                @ lilibear and noodle:

                It's impressive that people get engaged that early in their relationship and then stay together for their rest of their lives, that's just true love

                  I got engaged when I was 18, and we're not totally sure when we'll actually get married.

                      I married at 31 and divorced at 38 - it was so depressing. But one door closed then another opened and through it walked the most wonderful man I now love.

                          I think it's AMAZING that people can get married soo soon, and still be married years and years later. I believe it's just a matter of doing it when you're ready. You can't set an age or a date on when you want to marry, because if you meet the right person, it may happen sooner than you plan! So I just kind of go with the flow. haha
