Woop woop! Officially engaged (Already were, but for the sake of looking good in front of other people we got some rings so we can be public about it now!)
Tam and I don't see the point in expensive rings when we're both kinda careless and I break everything, plus why spend that much on a shiny thing when it could go to better things?
That said, we went to a clothing shop I really love around here, and I was telling her every time we go there, they have something magical that you need. She happened to find a Dream Theater shirt (Her favorite band, well, easily top 5, she can't pick favorites) and it was the shirt for her favorite album, AND it was her size! It was hanging there on display in its splendor and I said "See Tam? They always have something specifically for you when you come here!" and she believed in the magic ;D
That's actually related to this story because we went up front and they had a huge bowl full of sterling silver (The only cheap-but-still-classy metal I haven't broken yet lol) rihgs in assorted sizes for $10 each but half off.
PERFECT! We found some that match without being identical and fit, and then laughed at how people think you have to put a huge down payment on this sort of thing when we got ours for less than dinner.
Some people might think little sterling silver unisex rings from a clothes shop aren't perfect, and those people aren't us <3
