Proposing In Her Country - No Idea How

In about 3 weeks, I will fly to meet see her again - and this time, I'm bringing a ring.

I've never been to her city (Minsk, Belarus) and I have no accomplices there who can help me plan any kind of creative proposal.

She's a very shy person, so I know she wouldn't want to have anything done in public - and it'll be cold November when I'm there.

I've been wracking my brain to come up with some creative way to propose that will be memorable for her but everything I think of feels really contrived and/or really lame.

Given how little I know about her city - and given my inability to plan a lot in advance that I don't bring with me, might anyone take pity on me and offer up some creativity?

I don't know if you're staying at her place (would surprise me) or not... If not, then you're probabaly renting an appartment. What about making a nice dinner at candlelight and before you serve dessert, you propose?

Perhaps the Reddit community can help. Google to see what social media is used there where you can connect with someone and see if you can find a volunteer to take pictures. I've heard stories where people met strangers on the internet who were willing to snap a couple of pictures for engagements. Query social media sites in the area and see if there is anyone who can help you out.

You're proposing to mesh lives with this lady, but you know no one in her social circle? Is she not from that city? Seems like an interesting situation..
