But not me, my MOM! Hehe, misleading right?
Well it's a super cute story so I wanted to share. My mom, her boyfriend, my grandma, my SO and I all went to a baseball game tonight. We have a local AAA Minor league team and it's always a lot of fun. Also, the swim team my mom coaches for was there too (it was swim team night). It was exciting first of all because it was the first time my SO had ever been to a baseball game! We also got there early enough for him to sign up for one of the games they do in between innings. So my SO and my mom's boyfriend signed up to do the sumo match! They put on these big heavy suits and sumo. Hehehehe!!
Well we're waiting for the inning to come up for my SO and my mom's SO to head down to do sumo, when my mom's SO says: "So when they announce all the swim teams, your mom's team will come up first, then my proposal to her. I want you to take a picture of it."
I had noooo idea he was going to do it there!! So right after my SO and my mom's SO sumo wrestled (my SO won
) they start to announce the swim teams. I yell: "LOOK MOMMY!!" (yes I call my mommy "mommy") and up pops "Will you marry me?" She looked so confused and it was awesome. I got a video of the whole thing that I'm trying to post now, but my internet is going super slow. It was really really cute and when we got back to the swim team, everyone cheered.
My mom kept telling her boyfriend that he had to do a proposal before they got married because the first time she got married, her and my dad just decided to do it. No official proposal. So I hope this was big enough for her
I can't wait to go to the wedding!!!!!
