for the most part, that's what our texts are like too. we don't usually talk on the phone, never skyped (been together about 7 months, known eachother for 16 years). Every now and then, most days, we will have a meaningful text convo for about an hour, but the days of short answer,

texts, drive me crazy and make me feel insecure. I wonder if he misses me or forgotten me.
ive been reading a lot about couples scheduling a set time daily for oneanother (phone call, Skype, movie...) and its something I am debating on bringing to the table soon.
But the last few weeks, I have been making more of an effort for random "sweet nothings texts" I miss you, I love you, because I don't think that he would ever admit if/when he is feeling insecure too, it seems to be helping to get more response
