In a week or so I'm having a laptop from the UK delivered to me in the US. I'll be moving once I can get a Visa, which I expect will be around seven months, so I need a semi-permanent power solution for the laptop until then. The easiest solution would be to just keep it plugged into a UK-US travel adapter during this time, but there seem to be a lot of conflicting opinions over whether or not this is actually safe, so I'm not totally sure whether or not it would be a good idea to try that. I know there are a lot of expats on here, so if any of you have any advice it would be appreciated ^^
