Quick Question:
How do you get more expirence points or levels or all of that good stuff? I'm very confused by all of this...awards? Are they shiny? Haha just kidding.

You get points for your activity on the forum. If you click on "Member Awards" you can see your level, awards, achievements. Click on earn points to see what you can earn points for and how many points each activity is worth.
The hearts and ranking below your name show how many points you have:

0 hearts = LFAD Newbie = >10 posts
0 hearts = LFADopted = 10 posts
1 heart = LFADmirer = 30 posts
2 hearts = LFADiscussor = 50 posts
3 hearts = LFADvocate = 100 posts
4 hearts = LFADevotee = 200 posts
5 hearts = LFADdict = 300 posts and beyonddddd
