Movies!

Hey all!

For me and my SO, we really enjoy watching movies and TV shows together. We really like keeping up with a series together like the Walking Dead and animes.

For those who are able to watch the same shows together on TV or on the internet, what movies and shows do y'all like to watch with your SOs?

Shows we like watching are:

Movies:
Interview with the vampire... well pretty much whatever we both have or what i have andhe can stream on netflix.

We love the walking dead! Also Misfits (its a uk show) The killing (either american or danish version) Just watched Super 8 and Rango and those were good.

The first movie we watched together on skype was A Knight's Tale, then some Ghibli ones.
Speaking of Studio Ghibli...we recently had a 12 hour (!!) Ghibli marathon with some friends. We watched 6 movies in total, and took only one break. It was both an incredible and a surprisingly exhausting experience.
Now that we're CD we find any spare time we have and try to squeeze a movie in it. Often helps us both relax a little.

As for TV shows, we hardly have any ones in common, since he barely watches any TV. We both like The Last Airbender and Kyle XY, but I haven't been able to get him into any of the other TV shows that I like.

We couldn't do this LD because he didn't have internet. But now that we live together again, we download a lot of TV shows from the US.

Current: Breaking Bad and we're finishing up Dexter
Next up: Game of Thrones
Recently finished: Homeland, the Shield, the Wire

We've watched a few movies together. First one we watched on netflix together was Harry Brown, a Michael Caine thriller.

As for shows we watch together:

Anything on the Food/Travel channels (specifically Anthony Bourdain's The Layover)
Phineas and Ferb
Hockey/Soccer

Oddities/Pawn Stars
Top Gear (BBC version forever)
Doctor Who

Oddities/Pawn Stars

My SO tried to get me into Pawn Stars lol. I don't know, I just couldn't get into it.

Yea same here. We watched a few anime shows that we could watch online but that was really it. I couldn't get Netflix in Korea :[
But now that we're CD, it's one of our favorite past times. He even has a big display screens, kinda like the ones at the theaters but much smaller. It's really fun to watch movies on that, especially when money gets tight.

We loveeee watching The Walking Dead! It's like our favorite show haha. We also love watching Teen Wolf. For movies, we love watching horror movies together. He's the only person I know who loves horror movies (almost) as much as I do. We're both obsessed with zombie movies, so we watch lots of those(:

and anything else that takes our fancy. Movies every so often too. I think the last one was Army of Darkness or Hercules Returns. Can't quite remember which.
