I have a question for you ladies...have YOU ever sent/given clothes to your SO? What did you give? I'd love to, but I feel like bestowing his favorite dress of mine would be a little strange. (Also...I really like it! LOL)

I use one of her pillowcases. I should actually clean it, it is looking really disgusting.

I came back from our longest visit yet yesterday and found I'd forgotten to pack the t-shirt of my SO's which he'd said I could keep to wear. Gutted! I still have the toy dog and pretty porcelain lamp which he gave me a few months ago though, so at least I can cuddle the dog and light the lamp when I miss him

I always cuddle with one of his tshirts. It makes it a little easier at night. He had loaned me his sweatshirt when we were CD and I even slept in that during that time. I wish I had another shirt of his. I have two, but neither smells like him anymore. =[ If I am feeling especially lonely, I will wear his shirt to sleep. Otherwise, I drape it on my chest and hold it close while I sleep. I gave my SO a shirt of mine also, even though he can't wear it, he can hold it and cuddle it. I sprayed my perfume on it so it smells like me. I also wear the same deodorant my SO does, so it feels like he's with me wherever I go. (And women's deodorant isn't nearly strong enough for me. =P )

I left a lot of clothes at his house when I left, he says he likes to sleep with my purple top. He sprayed the British Bulldog puppy teddy he won me at a themepark with his Scent, unfortuantly smell has faded, he also sent me home with one of his tshirts which I kept in a sealed bad and unfortuantly that smell has gone also, but its still a nice comfort.

i can't do the cuddling with clothes thing..cuz we haven't met yet...but i have put an oversized pillow on the other side of the bed..so i can get used to sleeping next to someone again...and find myself waking up cuddling the pillow...she will be here in 3 weeks...and i am thinking about asking her to leave a piece of clothing...or maybe we can go shopping and find a stuffed animal or something that i can use to cuddle with when she isn't here

We sleep with teddy bears from each other (she has my very first teddy bear too), and we also do have t-shirts that belong to each other. It originally came from when I left my hoodie there the first trip. She always liked me wearing it and I wore it most of the time, so I gave it to her. Last time I went over, we swapped t-shirts, and we'll swap again on my next trip in October.

My SO got me this tiny lamp 6 months ago, like a ball of thin plastic-thingys that only have a light at the end of them, that makes it glow only slightly but still enough to generate light. Whenever he's here we turn it on whenever we're going to bed (he usually turns it off when I've fallen asleep though xD), and it's become sort of a routine that I connect very much to being with him So whenever he's not here, and I'm going to bed, I light it up and it reminds me so much of him. I also have one of his t-shirts (he leaves a new one each time), and his perfume, so I can make the shirt smell like him once again whenever the smell disappears

I stole my SO's softest shirt and slept with it for our whole three years of separation, making him wear it during our visits to reclaim is smell. It was my security blanket.

I sleep in one of his shirts he sent me a whole stack of them lol and a pair of his pj pants but since obviously they don't smell like him anymore I put some of his deodorant on the inside of my wrist so when I go to sleep with my hand tucked under my face I still have his scent lol I know how weird that sounds but eh it helps so much plus we go to bed on skype everynight so its like hes sort of with me just not taking up space lol.

We haven't met yet either we jsut mail eachother shirts. Plus we each have a little stuffed animal we sleep with me a tiny sock monkey and him a tiny pink bunny for our nicknames for eachother. Kinda silly but maybe when your SO's there you can go make a build a bear for eachother they have little recorders you can put in them and leave a message for eachother. Good luck on your vist!

My boyfriend's t-shirt is my pajama top, and I wash it before I visit him so I can switch it out for one that smells more like him. I also snuggle with a Batman plushie that he won for me at Ben & Jerry's on a date with me! ^_^ I would recommend this idea to anybody, in short- or long-distance relationships. For those in long-distance relationships, it is VERY comforting, and for those in short-distance relationships, it's just plain fun!

I've got my pillow where my SO sprayed some of his cologne on before he left two weeks ago, when I miss him terribly I pull it close and take big whiffs =^3^= It's absolutely intoxicating, makes me miss him more but also comforts me, knowing I'll be with that scent and smell and near him when we're together again. Felt a little bad though that he has nothing of mine yet, but he will when I travel to visit him next.
