I've only ever seen my other half sleeping once, and the images are burned into my mind because it was just so goddamned cute. He has seen me sleeping once too, but most of the time, because the time zone is quite extensive (when I'm waking up, it's almost his bedtime and when I go to sleep it's early evening for him), we're able to sleep together on Skype before he goes to bed. He's heard me sleep, I've heard him sleep. He's so attuned to my voice that when I say things to him in his sleep (I often talk to him in his sleep because I find it comforting) like I love you, he responds in his sleep and says I love you back and even kissed me down the line . He's so cute when he sleeps. When I've fallen asleep to him, he's said that he's heard me calling his name and talking to him in my sleep, and he's often thought I was awake.

This is something me and Michael do often, sometimes on accident and sometimes on purpose c: It's usually when it's much later for me because he is three hours behind me, but I love it. I always wake up in the middle of the night because he mumbles in his sleep, and he says I laugh in my sleep a lot. It's nice because when I wake up in the morning he's the first thing I get to hear!

Haven't really done this yet with my SO, I've been sleepy on the phone but not over skype, I'm just one of those people who can't seem to get comfortable enough to fall asleep that way, not sure why, I suppose if I was super duper tired it would work. His breathing is a big help to me in person to fall asleep though ^ w ^

My man and I do this EVERY NIGHT. Either on the phone (using skype or just the phone) or on the computer. You're right. The sound your lover makes while he/she is sleeping is addicting. I love waking up during the night and hearing him take his deep breaths. It's even to the point where if I can't hear him, I just know hes there. It started out as a security thing when I had a bad room mate and no locks on my door. In fear my room mate would come and abuse me in a drunken stouper my bf would be on the phone to hear if everything was ok and call my dad if things weren't. Now its almost a habit and not even a question if we are sleeping together. He gets to wake me up saying "baby....bayyyyyyyybe...." and i talk to him on his way into work. Best part of my day.

Oh! I thought we were the only ones who did that! I guess not! hehe We used to do it every night until I used up all my bandwith one month. Now we do it on a needed it basis. Like when we've had a rough day or we miss each other more than usual. There is nothing like waking up to your love's face.

My SO and I have the fortunate ability to talk pretty much whenever we want all day. She works out of her house and I'm a college student so I stay at home most of the day unless I'm in class. Last night we were both getting ready for bed while talking over Skype and I just quick suggested we could leave our cams up and going and then she could wake up and see me first thing in the morning. Saying goodnight and then trying to sleep with her on my mind has always been tough. But last night it was so much easier because we left our cams going. We chatted for a bit while each other settled in for sleep and then we said goodnight and we both just kinda fell asleep. I tend to wake up at random times at night and each time I'd look over at my screen (a 32 inch flatscreen so it was easy to see her) and seeing her for that split second was so awesome. I slept really well last night and I hope her and I do it more often because I feel just that much closer to her.

On a funny note, my SO has a son and he came in early in the morning and started mashing her keyboard and ended the call! Little goob then crawled into her bed and they went back to sleep! I had to laugh at that!

we haven't done this in a while..but i guess that's cuz she was here for a week...lol...but i'm sure in the near future we will be again...i just so love it...hearing her breathe...while she was sleeping next to me...i had to put my ear down to her mouth...so i could hear her breathe....how cute is that?

OMG I do that too, well only done it once but then my stupid comp went to sleep and skype shot down, but yesterday I was on my phone to him on skype and I was already falling asleep and he didnt mind, he was enjoying watching me sleep, then I went off line. But I do hope to do that again

We do this as well at first we (or rather I lol) would end up falling asleep on the phone because we stayed up so late talking. He started suggesting we Skype more and then I asked him if he would leave his cam on all night so I could sleep better (have trouble sleeping). Now it's pretty much routine. He can't see me at night because my lights are off so sometimes I'll take naps during the day and leave the camera up. This past weekend was his fall break so we spent nearly every second together just on skype, even if we fell asleep for a little while. It's really relaxing and comforting when you wake up in the middle of the night and can roll over and see them he tends to stay up all night, too, so I know that if I need him he'll be there for me~

I did this for the first time last night, and actually really enjoyed it. His breathing calmed me.

We do this all the time. He goes to bed hours before I do, and although his video is off, I can hear him breathing and moving around, and it calms me as well. I usually leave my video on for him. I wear a mask to bed (I sleep days, I work nights) so the light from the computer doesn't bother me.

We sleep together on FaceTime! (or rather, due to the 12 hour time difference, one sleeps while one naps...lol)
