Skype Sleepover!

Do you have an iPod? That will do. Or your phone with a front cam will do too (as long as it's an iOS or an Android phone). If not, you can just tilt your webcam cord to an angle where you can be seen though it will be a bit far when you sleep. Anyway, when you skype sleep with your SO, sometimes it's the sleeping sounds that matters more especially when you sleep in the dark.

I'll try my phone out to see if it will work, it has a front camera and it's an Android phone. But yeah, I'm betting the sounds are more important.

Monday night we also tried this. It only did not work out for me. My camera on my laptop needs a lot of light. So i had to put on my lamps so she still could see me all the time.
If i don't do that that its totaly black.... And sleeping with that much light is like inpossible for me. Still it was nice till we fall asleep watch each other and talk a bit. When we woke up in the morning we did put skype again and just continued with it.

Me and my darling do this alot it's awesome to wake up and see her sleeping so peacefully. Then I spam her messages about how much I love her and how amazing of a woman she is. She tells me that nothing is more beautiful than watching the man she loves sleep.

Every night we do this. Last night his phone shut off....so it was the first morning I woke up without him next to me. We skype all the time...he takes his phone everywhere so I am in stores with him, meeting his Dad..you name it. I love sleeping next to him though...very safe and comforting.

Finally got to do this last night for the first time My SO up until recently (change in schedules -.-) has pretty much slept on cam daily, but I've never been able to manage more than about an hour's nap when sneakily burrowing my mum's laptop in the mornings after I've already had my full sleep. Anyway, last night (to reward myself for such a hard week and so little cam time! ) I slept on the little sofa that sits in the computer room. Not at all the most comfortable thing as it's on the small side, but really I was too tired and determined to care. Woke up a few times... once to him being frozen on the screen, once to him not being there at all, about two times to find the call had dropped and my cam wasn't showing, having 3 dreams about what Mum was going to say to me when she found me Skype sleeping... all in all, it was a great experience (really)! Hope to do it again soon hopefully when I get a new phone or something It was amazing to wake up and find him just sitting there watching over me Oh, and he totally sang me to sleep. It was beautiful. I love watching him sleep (then again, he can end up in some odd positions xD) so glad I was finally able to properly share the experience. Definitely a thing to try if you haven't done so.

D: I've never done a Skype sleepover but we used to put each other to sleep over the phone. Mostly him :3

Some time ago I was having a really hard time in life and we'd call each other at nights before going to bed and he'd always lull me to sleep :') it was unbelievable. I never imagined I could fall asleep on him hehe. And if in the nights I'd wake up scared he'd still be there and reassure me that everything is okay and I can go back to sleep :'D

My S/O and I do this generally every week, when we make time for our Skype date, or over the phone. We love it so much, it's so comforting to have him there with me on the other end of the phone, he'll wake up every now and again and mumble "I love you" in an adorable tired voice, haha. The best part is waking up to each other in the morning and having snuggles, even if he is 4hrs ahead

I haven't thought of this because of the 6hr time difference and my afternoon-late-night work shifts. But we unintentionally took a Skype nap together once and that was nice. I just wouldn't want to end up feeling dependent on Skype sleeping and then feel extra far apart when it can't happen.

I've done this before and loved it! Of course, it was kinda odd the first morning I woke up and heard him snoring. I thought I was going crazy since I knew I was home alone. LOL!!!

My husband and I had Skype sleepovers almost every night from the time he first left my house until the morning I woke up to board the plane to Canada. It's an absolutely wonderful experience, and really is a second-best to sharing a bed with him. Fun ideas that we've done are eat dinner together and watch a movie on Netflix while on Skype and then lay down together and fall asleep listening to each other's murmurings of love. <3

I wish I could do this. I noticed that some people on here with a 6-hour time difference have done it, which excites me. But unfortunately I live with others and the computer is in their bedroom. Maybe if they went on vacation, lol. But how would I do this with a PC? I think my headset can reach the end of the bed with its long cord, but not sure if the webcam cord can reach that far. Any suggestions?

I agree completely with chizatlauren. Skype Sleepovers are so much fun and very romantic too! Like she said, if you have a smartphone or iPod touch then just take that and prop it up on your bedside table or or the edge of your bed and enjoy it!

I can't do video calls on skype with my phone samsung galaxy ace But I can call her without the video but she hasn't a good mobile and my computer is really loud

Due to the 14 hour time difference, my SO and I can't really do a sleep over.

However, if one of us is not busy while the other is sleeping, we will leave skype on. For example, I may spend the day working on school work while she is sleeping. I will just mute my mike so I don't accidentally wake her up! She really likes it when she wakes up and sees me working on stuff.

My SO and I are in the same situation. I didn't really consider doing that, it sounds nice. I could imagine my SO would probably feel like it's pointless though XD he's a very logical man.

My SO and I have skype sleepovers every night. We just talk until we get sleepy and fall asleep. I love waking up to see him sleeping peacefully. I don't think I would be able to sleep without being on cam with him. lol
