Skype Sleepover!

I think this is a great idea for LDR! I mentioned it to my boyfriend not to long ago and I was surprised when he actually agreed to doing something like this! I cannot wait to try this! :-)

We tried this, didn't work, neither got any sleep, too much noise from the computers and other things going on. Doubt we'll try it again, nice idea in theory just didn't work in practice.

I actually asked my SO if i could watch him sleep. he completely ignored it xD hahaha. i don't know if he found it creepy or not. i'll have to ask him again.
but i can only do this with skype :/ and his laptop would eventually switch off... so im not sure

I have skype sleepovers every night.

Now I want to, but my laptop is broken, and even if it wasn't my parents don't know about him yet, and his laptop doesn't like vchats, so he has to use his parents computer after he's off school. If those weren't an issue then I'd be asking him to every night.

My SO and I fall asleep next to each other all the time via skype. It is such a nice feeling, especially when in the morning if connections hold you can see them in the morning too.

We always sleep on Skype.. Been doing it for months now and regularly doing it everyday.. Kinda hard coz of the time difference.. But we both adjusted to it,, And never get bored of it.. And when I sleep alone without feels different now.. Feels lonely, just the sight of him makes me feel better.. Honestly sometimes not.. Bcoz I hate the thoughts of wishing he is beside me.. For real

Skype sleepovers seem like a really good idea, but i'm wondering how do you guys do it - sleeping with headsets or is a webcam mic good enough for this? I only have a webcam mic and I have no idea if it is good enough to hear the other person sleeping/breathing?

Aw what a cute idea!!! We have an 8 hour time difference, but maybe when I have a stable land line internet connection again (recently moved) we can try something like that or at least leaving skype on for the SO when we are home. That skype can answer calls automatically I didnt know. I have to figure out how this works. ^^

My SO said that as soon as he gets home he wants us to watch a film together till he falls asleep on skype. so adorable. i've never had a skype call like this with him!!!
