Looking for a new book to share with my boyfriend!

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost three years. Before we started dating we would have the longest conversations about books we both loved and found interesting. Lately, things have gotten a little rocky between us and I wanted to try something new that would give us something to talk about and explore again. Does anyone have any suggestions for a few books we might be able to share? We've read a lot of the popular ones classics-his mom is an english teacher and had him reading LotR in 4th grade, but I'm open to any suggestions!

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is fantastic, as well as Looking for Alaska by the same author.

Currently me and my SO are re-reading the entire Harry Potter series together, but you could do it with any series if Harry Potter doesn't interest you...

I practically have the Harry Potter series memorized, and he's over those books now, but John Green sounds great! Thanks!

We just finished The Riyria Revelations series, they replaced his all time favourite books - that's how great we found them. Here's a link

Well, I read a lot on wattpad.com (they have an app for smartphones so it's better than keeping a book in my bag) try anything by xXdemolitionloverXx, inject me sweetly/dusk until dawn by XxSkater2Girl16xX, Bitter Kisses by LifeGoesOn31, or She's bad news by Bright_as_night

if you like fantasy i would recomend:
            the cloud roads
            the serpent sea
            the siren depths
            from: martha wells

            song in silence
            the lesser kindred
            reedeming the lost
            from: elizabeth kerner

i REALLY enjoyed those not over the top but nicely written!

Game of thrones series, havent read them yet but if theyre half as good as the series ill be hooked at once!
The hobbit and the lord of the rings are good, you could maybe combine it with a movie marathon?
1984 by Georg Orwell was really good, as well as A clockwork orange by Anthony Burgess.
If you like mystery/crime any Agatha Christie is more interesting than Larsson, Brown or any of those, but that might just be me.
If you havent read it already, I loved Faust by JW van Goethe. It was a bit challenging first reading a play on verse since I wasnt used to it but I really liked it.
Wolfbrothers series was good, havent read all uet though...
Better stop now or this will be a mile long!
