    Getting Creative

    Hey Everyone,

ive decided i wanted to get creative and grab a scrapbook and start something that describes and shows our journey from when we first started speaking, Minus the wife and the ex boyfriend lol!

Ive ordered a scrapbook which will hopefuly have a cover of half the american flag and half the UK flag! (if all goes to plan) But now im looking for stickers online. Im thinking of investing in some 'Military' stickers what with my boyfriend being in the military the past 5 years and still having 2 more to go! any idea where i can get something of this kind from?

Also any ideas of the sort of stuff i can use? i am all new this you see and i want to make it special with the photos of our first visit and our skype dates leading up to our first visit.

Sure i can just pop down to local hobby craft store or whatever but its really difficult for me as i am working ALWAYS! so i thought i could just order some bits online.

I guess this is just something to work on to keep my mind off the fact its ages untl we will be together again!

Thanks in advance!! much love my muchkins!

I made a mini one for my SOs birthday recently and put all sorts in.... tickets, sections of emails, song lyrics, photos, maps, pictures of where we both live, photos of books we've read together, recipes we've talked about.

I love scrapbooking haha! I have about 5 and I'm working on a small one for my SO for our anniversary. Amazon.com is literally my best friend. I have prime so shipping is free usually, and the materials come in about two days. Below are some start-up links to help you! My SO is going into the Army, so I've prepared my crafting station with military stickers, cloth, and paper. :P

          - Military Scrapbook Kit (Paper and Stickers)
          - Stickers
          - More Stickers
          - Cardstock Stickers
          - Red, White, and Blue Paper

The Christmas Tree Shoppe and Michaels are also really great places! You can probably order online, but I'm not totally sure...

As far as methods, you really just need to figure out what appeals to you. For me, I love cutting things out of cardstock and construction paper to back pictures, make accents, cut out letters, etc...I also really love borders and stickers. So I usually stick with those.

Good luck and feel free to message me if you want more ideas or have any ideas to share!

I made a scrapbook for my SO for his 18th birthday. I put a lot of work into it, we had been together for about 3 years at that time, so I had a lot of stuff to choose from. I bought a scrapbook kit and had my incredibly talented neighbor help me put it all together. I know your SO will love it because it's a one-of-a-kind gift full of special moments that you've shared together. Enjoy making it! Post pictures when you're done!
